Inspired Ventures takes the responsibility for the health and safety of our travellers seriously and in response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we request that everyone travelling on one of our trips supports us in reducing the likelihood of spreading Covid.
When joining an Inspired travel experience, we request that if you have not been vaccinated against COVID-19, that you provide a negative COVID test which you have conducted no more than 72 hours before joining the trip.
To travel with a group all customers will need to have one of the following in place prior to travel:
1. Be fully vaccinated against COVID-19
The total number of required doses must have been given (including boosters), as required by the vaccine manufacturer, with the last required dose having been administered no less than two weeks prior to travel and allow enough time for immunity to take effect.
Proof of Vaccination we accept are:
- UK – The NHS app showing your vaccination status under ‘Your COVID-19 status’, displayed as a QR code, or as a pdf. A vaccination cards which show your name and date of vaccine or in locations these are not being issued a letter confirming the appointment is acceptable.
- USA – CDC vaccination record
- EU – Eu Digital COVID Pass
Or
2. A negative test taken within 72 hours of travel
We accept a number of different tests:
- Nucleic acid amplification tests (NAATs) such as the RT-PCR, RT-LAMP, TMA, NEAR or HAD tests. These are typically collected by nasopharyngeal swabs.
- Rapid antigen test (must be sent to a laboratory for diagnostic viral testing or administered in front of a medical professional [in person or online] and a travel certificate/medical certificate issued).
- Lateral Flow tests (if a verifiable test result can be produced).
You must be able to produce a verifiable test result (paper or digital). This may be in the form of a test result, a medical certificate or a travel certificate/ “fit to fly” certificate.
Or
3. Proof of recent recovery from COVID
- A positive test result, followed by a negative test result no more than 180 days before the date of travel.
- Or a GP letter or hospital discharge summary showing the above.
Note – If you are travelling: to a country where one of these is an entry requirement, you do not need to provide Inspired Ventures with proof of your COVID vaccination status prior to travel; you can expect this to be checked by your airline and by immigration officials when you arrive in the destination country.
If you are travelling: within the UK, within your home country (outside the UK), or there are no entry requirements of this nature for the destination country, we will ask you to email a copy or photo of your document to info@inspiredventures.co.uk at least 2 weeks before departure.
