Meet Jeffrey Kieffer

Travel Photographer

Returning for his second expedition, Jeffrey wanted to up the ante. His community trusts him to find the most photogenic spots on earth.

The Vision

"Namibia is vast."

Namibia is vast. The problem? 'How do we see the best of it without spending 10 hours a day in a car?' Jeffrey needed an itinerary that was efficient but didn't feel rushed. He wanted the group to be at Deadvlei before the gates opened for the general public—a permit nightmare that requires special connections.

The Goal

To capture the surreal landscapes of Namibia with a group of passionate photographers.

The Challenge

Namibia involves vast driving distances. The challenge was to maximize shooting time at golden hour while covering key locations like Deadvlei.

Specific Needs

Specialized 4x4 safari vehicles, permits for after-hours access to parks, and comfortable lodges.

Making it Happen

Crafting the Experience

We cut the driving time in half by chartering bush planes for the longest leg of the journey, giving the group two extra days of shooting. For the dunes, we negotiated a special 'photographer's permit' with the National Park, allowing us to enter the park an hour before the public gates opened. This meant Jeffrey's group had Deadvlei completely to themselves for sunrise—a rarity in modern travel.

Precision Logistics

We collaborated with Jeffrey to plan the flight logistics, ensuring maximum time on the ground. Our team secured the rare after-hours permits and managed the fleet of 4x4s, ensuring the convoy moved safely and efficiently through the desert.

The Outcome

A visual feast. The group came back with award-worthy images and the trip ran like clockwork despite the remote setting.
