SA Conservation Workshop
Partnering with Charlee Wild to create an unforgettable experience.

Meet Charlee Wild
Conservation Photographer
Charlee uses her lens to advocate for wildlife protection. She builds trips that aren't just about taking photos, but about understanding the subject.
"Charlee didn't just want a safari."
Charlee didn't just want a safari. She wanted impact. 'I don't want us to just take photos of animals; I want us to help save them.' The request was to integrate a genuine veterinary procedure—a rhino notching—into a luxury safari itinerary. This is highly sensitive work requiring permits, vet teams, and a deep understanding of ethical widlife interactions.
The Goal
To offer a masterclass in wildlife photography that gives back to the animals being photographed.
The Challenge
Combining high-end safari photography with genuine conservation work (like rhino notching) requires strict ethical protocols and safety.
Specific Needs
Veterinary involvement, private game drive vehicles, and lodge accommodation.
Crafting the Experience
We leveraged our contacts in the Eastern Cape to partner with a reserve that was actively looking for funding for a rhino notching operation. We coordinated the entire procedure—booking the wildlife vet, the helicopter, and the support team. We briefed the group extensively on safety and ethics. When the moment came, it wasn't a show; it was real work. The group assisted in monitoring the rhino's vitals while taking photos that told a powerful story of survival.
Precision Logistics
We worked closely with the reserve's veterinary team and Charlee to synchronize the conservation work with the group's itinerary. We handled the complex safety protocols and donor logistics, allowing the photographers to witness and document this critical work safely.

A deeply emotional and impactful trip where photography served a greater purpose.
